Dining Trends in Senior Living Settings


Purpose: To identify dining trends in long term care facilities, assisted living, and other senior living communities. To prepare everyone for the culture change that is experienced with implementing a new dining trend.

Objectives: By the end of this training module, participants should be able to:

  • Understand the reasoning behind the changes in senior living settings.

  • Understand the dining trends in the various senior living settings.

  • Understand the implications of these trends on the Dietary Department.
